iPad Screen Repair - You Can Do It Yourself!

iPad Screen Repair is a useful skill to have, for your safety and your pocketbook. Repairing your iPad screen is actually easy and quick. Here are some tips on how to repair your iPad screen with your own two hands.
First, you need to pry the glass out from underneath the iPad. There are two screws that hold it in place. Remove both. Slide the glass away from the iPad and separate the two pieces.
Next, you need to open up the case of your iPad to see how you can repair the screen yourself. This will be necessary if you intend to do this by yourself, otherwise it will be worth it to hire a professional.
Pry the two screws off the motherboard components with your hands. You should be able to gently lift the two components from the case. These screws need to be unscrewed with care to prevent any damage to the parts.
Find a drill bit that is suitable for the case's front panel. Drill a small hole into the corner where the screws came out.

Use your other hand to manipulate the component. If it is not in the right place or is warped, you can use a screwdriver to shape it. This is also a great opportunity to go through the iPad using your fingers so you can learn how to use it properly and become familiar with the various features.
After you are done shaping it, use the screwdriver to remove the battery. This is probably the hardest part of the process, because there are thousands of things that go into repairing the battery, including the small internal components.
The most important step in this process is to read the manual. You will find a lot of information inside of the battery. Make sure you read every single page of the manual before doing this.
Pry the batteries with your fingers until you get a feel for the screws that connect the battery to the motherboard. Be careful not to overwork them. You may have to use your fingernails or a screwdriver to pound them down a little more.
Using a screwdriver, put a washer and a nut on the battery and screw it to the frame as tightly as possible. In this way, you are preventing the battery from getting in the way when you are installing the screen. Place the component onto the frame and apply pressure gently, so that the nut doesn't slip.
Tighten the nut as much as you can with the screwdriver, but still be gentle with the battery so that it does not get dislodged. Once you have secured the nut, use a pair of pliers to remove the old battery from the iPad. Remove the old battery completely by inserting the battery connector into the new one.
This is one of the easiest and fastest ways to repair your iPad screen. With this simple process, you can get back to the screen of your iPad, without having to call a professional or have to spend hours on end with it being worked on.
